*Cinema — Spiderman 3

Long. Very long.
I’m pretty sure this could have been two movies.
Way too many villains.
If the movie’s tag-line was “The battle within”, they should have focused only on that. That could have easily been a nice hour and a half movie.
I find it very hard to believe that was Kirsten Dunst’s real singing voice. I just don’t believe she sounds like a blues singer from like sixty years ago.
Peter Parker was kind of a bastard, even before the Venom deal.
Peter Parker + black spidey = very bad hair.
There is no way around it. I find Topher Grace crazy annoying. The poor kid needs to eat something.
Thomas Haden Church looks totally different. Although he’s playijng a villain, and I guess he’s supposed to look like a big thug, I actually think he almost looks more sympathetic and likeable this way.
I guess it goes without saying that I think that Thomas Haden Church kind of looks like a smarmy guy normally (probably because of the most of the roles I’ve seen him in recently).
Overall, though, I enjoyed it.
It had a better ending than I was expecting.
