The Artist (2011)

• Insanely sweet.

• Bérénice Bejo stole every scene she was in.

• I loved that her name was Peppy. The entire movie was pretty much saying “Its ok to be happy!” Which seems completely rare in film/tv lately.

• Actually all of the acting was stellar.

• But the best actor was the dog. I want the dog.

• The dog deserves an Oscar.

• Its certainly the most well done romantic movie I’ve seen in many, many years. Not cheesy, not saccharin. Just warm, sweet, and silly, while still a little clever.
