This picture is everything that was ever right with SNL. Well almost everything, Gilda Radner would have made this picture perfect.
My sentiments exactly.

We were both on Oceanic Flight 815, from Sydney to Los Angeles. I was in row 15, you were one back, and I didn’t see you until we were getting off, and we both waited for the bald guy in the wheelchair to get off.
It was a crazy flight, and as we walked out of the cabin and into the terminal, (something that seemed to take a long time,) our eyes met, if only for an instant. Maybe it was just me, but looking at you, I had a flash of understanding that we had been together in some alternate universe, some sideways reality perhaps, or maybe, that somehow, we were destined to be together.
Anyways, I’m a scruffy skinny dude that was wearing a purple shirt, and looked five years older than my age. I had a mysterious cut on my body that I didn’t notice until a gazed into the mirror in the bathroom. We should get together. I have tickets for the Driveshaft reunion.[submitted by carinaavila]

Oh Jack, you still don’t have what it takes.

There is so much awesome going on in this photo.

This is easily one of the funniest things I’ve seen in years. It just never gets old.
i’m re-watching The Sopranos from the beginning.
Carmella telling off the priest was so satisfying.
WD TV HD Media Player
About two weeks ago I purchased a WD TV HD. It was an impulse buy, but I have to say I’m happy I bought it.
Its not an ideal media center. I use a Mac Mini with Plex for that. However I’ve been wanting something ideal for traveling. A small contraption to play avi files on my TV. For that, the WD TV HD is perfect.
It’s tiny and lightweight. Its so lightweight mainly because it doesn’t have any hard drive space. So it’s necessary to have it connected to an external hard drive. But if you have a portable hard drive, and travel a lot, it is an ideal traveling companion.
The user interface is lacking. Completely lacking. While it does support thumbnail images, they all have to be added manually. I’m sure this is mainly because the WD TV HD has no way to access the internet. It has no wireless or ethernet port. The fact that it has no wireless is also irritating because to add data to the hard drive connected to the WD TV HD, you must disconnect your external drive and reconnect it to your computer.
The WD TV HD is definitely not the perfect home media center, but if you need a way to watch your video that is portable, it really is a great solution.
Life Season One
I find it hard to believe Crews really believes much of the crap he says, but he certainly is a decent person and a good cop.
Ted is also a great character to offset Crews. How that guy ever committed illegal acts is beyond me.
Stark, Crews’ previous partner, is an interesting character. He seems like such a cool guy while also being rather creepy at the same time. He also always seems to be around.
It is so, so weird to see Robin Weigert as anyone other than Calamity Jane on Deadwood. I don’t think I’ll ever get used to it.
Once the whole underlying mystery is done (I hope they do get to eventually finish it instead of having it go on forever). I think it can still hold its own as a plan old crime show. So I hope they get to do that eventually.
The Wire Seasons One & Two
Season one was superbly done. Season two was also great.
Season one was just so intense. Season two was a bit less intense, I think its simply because the pace of the season was a bit slower.
The parts that upset you really upset you. It can be just plain difficult to watch.
Griggs, McNulty, Bunk, Freeman, Daniels, D’angelo and Omar… just awesome, awesome characters.
The amount of drinking on this show matches the amount of cursing on Deadwood.
The ‘fck’ scene in season one was my favorite few minutes in any crime show ever. (I’ve watched *many many crime shows).
I hate the show for some of the stuff it does to some of its characters… but I’m sure that all of the crap that this show does to its characters makes me love it even more.
Its just a beautiful show. So engrossing.
Dexter Season Three
Smits was f*cking creepy. Even when he was acting normal, you knew he couldn’t possibly be normal.
I mean, who talks about friendship and trust that much. Seriously?!
I think that I liked this season more than last season.
I still say last season’s drug story line was retarded.
I absolutely loved all of Deb’s progression in this season. Loved her and Anton from start to finish. Its so nice to be able to be happy for Deb.
It was also nice to see Laguerta in a new light. Still clever… but also… caring.
Yay for Batista! Its also so nice to see him happy. I loved seeing him handle his promotion in stride and handle it responsibly.
The beginning of the season was a bit slow for me, mostly because I felt like I knew what was going to happen, and just wanted to see it happen. By the middle of the season it started to pick up and just get awesome.
Of course.. how could I ever forget Dexter? He finally figured out that the two people in his life he can trust, Rita and Deb, are the people he should trust. Every time Dexter tries to make a friend, it ends up in a whole mess of death. Maybe he’ll learn that you can have very good friends who don’t know all of your secrets.
I always love how Dexter is confronted with people he has a lot.. in common with, but ultimately, he can see the difference between himself and them (Miguel Prado, George King).
Dexter was faced with different opportunities for murder. Murder as pure self-defense (Oscar Prado) murder as a favor (for Miguel Prado), murdering someone who wasn’t a killer (just a pervert), and murder for mercy (Camilla).
It was great to see Dexter sort through all those different opportunities to see which ones he was really comfortable with.
